Well...
We actually made it.
(I'm still trying to process that.)
If you've read my previous blog posts, you already know that BeeRubby didn't appear overnight.
It started with digital products on Etsy.
Then came sketches.
Ideas.
More sketches.
Even more ideas.
(A slightly concerning amount of bear drawings.)
And after months of planning, designing, changing my mind, redesigning everything again, learning Shopify, testing products, and asking myself "Does this sticker really need to be two millimeters bigger?"...
BeeRubby is finally open.
🥹
Honestly, it still feels a little unreal.
For the longest time, BeeRubby only existed inside my iPad.
Or in my sketchbook.
Or as fifty different notes that all started with:
"I have an idea..."
(Some of them were actually good.)
Now it's a real place.
A website.
A brand.
Something you can actually visit.
And that makes me ridiculously happy.
Why not just stay on Etsy?
You might have noticed that I haven't left Etsy.
And I don't plan to.
I'll continue selling my digital products there, and over time they'll also be available here on the website.
But BeeRubby is something different.
This isn't just a shop.
It's a little corner of the internet where I can share everything that happens behind the scenes.
New products.
Blog posts.
Sketches.
Ideas that almost became products.
(The keyword here is almost.)
Most importantly...
It's a place where I can actually get to know the people who support my work.
That's something I always missed.
What can you expect?
Right now, BeeRubby is still small.
Very small.
(I like to think of it as "cute small.")
The first collection includes things that genuinely make me smile.
Bear stickers.
Cute stationery.
Handmade beaded jewelry.
And plenty more ideas waiting their turn.
My goal has never been to release hundreds of products at once.
I'd rather create fewer things that I genuinely love than rush out products just to fill a catalog.
Every new product is something I'd happily keep for myself.
(Actually...
I usually have to stop myself from keeping all of them.)
This is only the beginning.
Opening the shop isn't the finish line.
It's the starting line.
There are already dozens of ideas sitting in my sketchbook.
New bears.
Seasonal collections.
Digital products.
Maybe some desk accessories.
Maybe plushies one day.
(Okay, now I'm getting ahead of myself.)
The point is...
BeeRubby is going to keep growing.
One little product at a time.
Thank you.
Whether you found BeeRubby today...
Followed me from Etsy or Instagram...
Or somehow ended up here after searching for cute bear stickers...
Thank you for being here.
Seriously.
Supporting a small business means so much more than most people realize.
Every order.
Every kind message.
Every newsletter subscription.
Every share.
It reminds me that there are real people on the other side of the screen.
And that's exactly why I wanted to build BeeRubby in the first place.
If this is your first visit...
Welcome. 💛
I hope you'll stick around for future blog posts, new product launches, and all the little adventures that come with running a tiny kawaii brand.
(There will probably be ice cream involved.)
(And definitely more bears.)
